7 Top Tips To Help You Get The Most Out Of Raising Your Vibration.
According to the Law of Resonance, all energy in the universe is vibrating at various frequencies. Normally invisible thoughts and emotions as well as our physical selves are too made up of these different frequencies which are relatively higher or lower to different aspects of life. For example, we may vibrate at a high vibration at the thought of a tasty green smoothie, or a lower vibration at the thought of 'have to’s and ‘should do’s’.
The more we check in with ourselves and introspect, the more we can tell where we are on this vibrational scale and realise things we can do to improve our state of being at any time, choosing and taking action to feel better. By using our innate natural inclination towards optimal health and positive emotional states, our energy will accordingly rise to match dominant higher frequencies we come into contact with. Only you know what’s best for you, but here are some suggestions for consciously raising your vibration bringing you closer to what you want.
It's nothing new that exercise is good for you, atomically speaking, the rise in oxygen levels from a deepened and quickened breath, along with the release of endorphins from vigorous movement will raise the frequency that these little guys vibrate at. Matched with the subsequent appreciation you’ll have for your body and all it can do, the way you look and feel will give you that ‘natural high’. This suggestion comes with a note bene, as long as you make this an exercise you enjoy, whether it be dancing your stresses away, chasing the children around or favourite yoga asanas, you'll have a much greater chance of making it a habit and a vibration you'll be able maintain. Have you noticed by taking pleasure in activities, they seem a lot less effort and produce great affects?
Eat the Rainbow
It’s no myth that a variety of whole, plant-based foods will have a greater effect on you. But next time you are out picking something to eat, wondering what to buy, try the simple exercise determining what is the right food for you; go around to the products you feel drawn to, look at them, pick them up, and centred, feel whether they’re for you or not, feel whether your vibration will rise at the thought of eating them. This may come as a sensation of opening or closing within. A friend did this exercise recently looking for foods that would help him feel better and he was surprised to find how many items he picked up and put back down, but once he reached a selection of yellow foods, he actually felt a sensation of excitement in finding what he clearly felt was what he was right for him. Colour and aroma in themselves are alternative therapies, their qualities could be what your body lacks and needs. Trusting yourself to know what is right for you is a practise, and that simple act of feeling an internal yes or no can apply to any decision you make in life.
Spend Time in Nature
Resistance is what makes life tough, when you spend time in the great outdoors, where more wild, organic forms of life take hold, you may notice its subtle hold on you, because your vibration will naturally rise to match its non-resistive vibration, this may explain why you may feel more in tune with yourself and surrounding elements, and at ease. The natural world as compared to our man-made one, is autonomous, plants and animals take feedback from their environment and adapt, hence we perceive a sense of balance and harmony which we gain from. Essentially by taking a leaf out of nature’s book, we can let go of impossibly trying to control everything in our lives, rather let life play out and see ourselves as a force within it. So, take your workout outside whenever possible, breathe fresh air, swim in natural water, climb trees and mountain and get lost in the forest. Another suggestion to connect and balance your energy is to get your bare feet on the grass, sand, rocks or soil and discharge any negative energy, this can help you feel grounded and stable. By letting nature absorb our negative vibrations, and by entraining with its resonance, our vibration as well as our workout can improve leaps and bounds.
The Power of Music
I’m sure you’ve experienced your mood lift when a tune is played that just makes you feel awesome. It is up to you to experience what kind of music that has this uplifting effect on you. It’s been interesting to notice that when I’ve felt down and pissed off with the world, listening to trashy rock music has actually caused an improved feeling in me, as it’s a raise in the vibrational scale that feels empowering as opposed to helpless. Any expression of an emotion can help a person move through it and raise above it, by refusing to face up to reality life can be feel really barricading. It is important to be honest with ourselves so as not to pretend we feel great when we don't nor try to jump to higher vibrational states in order to escape what lows may actually be within us. Like any type of navigating, it is necessary to realise where we are in order to decide how to get to where we want to be. So embrace how you presently feel and work on yourself incrementally from there. Music can be a tool of transcendence, choose your soundtrack of continual progress and discover tunes to make you move!
Honour Your Desires
Training of any kind usually comes from the longing for a greater sense of self. Desire is the internal driver for that, so despite what religions and society may tell us, it is imperative that we feed those flames and take steps toward what we truly wish for. Without this coherence, our true potential would not be discovered and lives would sadly not be fully lived. Be aware that desire is a sense different from craving which can be perceived as constrictive, a dependant feeling, whereas desire feels 'higher' more like inspiration. This drive calls for expansion and the utilisation of energy, for the manifestation of dreams, then the celebration of accomplishments and having brought forth new growth. Anything is possible so be confident enough to believe in yourself!
We were all given a body, mind and spirit, it is up to us to choose how we want to use our gifts. It is said to create masterfully is to listen to our soul’s purpose (those desires are a good indicator) and be called into action. Whether we are painting a picture or growing vegetables, when we are in the flow of bringing our visions into fruition, we may feel 'in the flow' like an energy current is helping us along. So, when we create visualisations of what we would like to create, we can then mark out the steps that will lead to that future image, like a route plotted on the map that is our life. Trust that the actions to take will become apparent along the way, and that we are creatures of habit with habits creatively formed. Vibrations will rise with every positive thought, word and action we take and with higher levels of awareness being more in tune with ourselves, we can design our lives, style them to suit our needs and live them to channel our motives more effectively.
Take Care of Your Environment
There is a ‘universal truth’ you may have heard, that we and everything are one. The difference between you and that of another, is that you are directly responsible for your own consciousness. Knowing that we are affected by what’s around us, and that it is affected by us, tells us there is an interdependency with our environment. By being realistic, tending to positivity, we can steer clear of falling to ailments simply because our high vibration cannot be a match to them. This means looking into what Carl Jung called our ‘shadow’ and questioning what our low vibrations are within that we can seek to understand and neutralise so they cease to be the low vibrations that attract negative experiences. By shining our light of consciousness into our dark places, our wounds, the wear and tear of our lives, we can realise changes we need to make. We have free will to design the world we wish to live in, beyond exhausting coping mechanisms. So clear the clutter from your place, your body, your mind and be clear from all that has mess that has accumulated, weighed you down and blocked your progression. Recognise how you feel moment to moment in different places with different people, does your vibration feel higher or lower in the energy you share?
Ultimately it all comes down to self-realisation, who we are and what we are capable of. We can work on either aspect, body, mind or spirit but each need to be consciously incorporated in order to be the high functioning individuals we all want to be, and thus by looking after our own energy fields be able to even raise the vibrations of the loved ones around us. So, go ahead and brainstorm the ways in which you gain feelings of higher energy, and at any time that you may be feeling low you'll have a long list of insights to turn to and take from.
