But first I would like to start off by saying...
This week has been a pretty good week with regards articles read. I have chosen areas where my expertise and knowledge could do with a top up. My clients this week have asked me a few questions that I didn't know the answer to. That's right, I didn't blag it, I told them straight up I didn't know the answer. However, what I did say was that I would do my best to find the answer for them.
As a personal trainer you are expected to have a broad range of knowledge and answers to a lot of questions regarding fitness. There is no harm in not knowing everything and you have to make that clear from the off.

What you do have to be is honest with yourself and with your client to ensure that they get the best possible information and if that means going away and researching it then so be it.  The fitness industry is littered with inaccurate and contradicting info which is a total minefield at times for clients trying to improve their knowledge for their own wellbeing and lifestyle. This is one of the reasons I do the Sunday Supplement.
