There are awards, and then there's the Calumn Duthie Personal Training EFF award: The Oscar of the fitness world. This award goes to the client who I think has worked their butt of this month, come into sessions with the can do attitude and never gives up when the sessions got tough.
The votes have been cast, counted and re-counted for this highly acclaimed, very sexy, and desirable #EFF award.
I won't keep you in suspense any longer.
Drum roll please

This month the award goes to Mary for her hard work and commitment to her training programme. Long may it continue to reach to reach your goals. Awesome work.
A Little About Mary
I first started working with Mary around two years ago. She was already working with a personal trainer but unfortunately for her he left to go and do some travelling. So this is where I come.
Ever since our first consultation Mary has always come into every session giving a 100%. She's not looking to become a body builder, she's not looking or expecting to be lifting huge weights but for Mary it's all about being able to move better on a daily basis. It's been a pleasure working with her and I will continue to enjoy our sessions in the future.
I myself, as you've probably read from previous blog posts, have gone away and got the travelling bug out my system. During the time I was away I passed all my old clients on to other experienced trainers in the commercial gym I was working in at the time. Since coming home and setting up on my own, some old faces have come back to work with me. It's been great to see that they haven't digressed and their motivation is still to be the best they possibly can be and Mary is no different.
Mary was one of my old clients that made the decision to come back and work with and trust my process with her goals which I am truly grateful for.
Mary's attitude and willingness to work hard in sessions makes her a real pleasure to coach. You never really know how someone is going to react to working out after being trained by someone else. Whether they shy away and compare you to the trainer you left them with or will come in to the session looking forward to making some positive changes. Mary has trusted the process and so far we have seen some great results with her mobility and strength in some complex movement patterns.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to Mary for her great attitude towards training.
You are an amazing client – keep up the great work!
