Client Of The MonthThere are awards, and then there's the Calumn Duthie Personal Training EFF award: The Oscar of the fitness world. This award goes to the client who I think has worked their butt off this month, came into sessions with the can do attitude and most importantly never gives up when their sessions get tough. The votes have been cast, counted and re-counted for this highly acclaimed, very sexy, and desirable #EFF award. I won't keep you in suspense any longer. Drum roll please ........................................ This Month's Winner is JP Valentine The Award WinnerThe first award of 2017 goes to JP, he has shown to me over the past couple months that he is committed to his training, works hard during his sessions and most importantly uses what he has learned and implements it in his bespoke training programme out with with his Personal Training sessions. A Little About JPJP started training with me back in October, we knew of each other from my previous job I had in a commercial gym so he had seen the way I had been training my clients in the past. He liked what he saw, his words not mine, and we took it from there. We met up for coffee one evening to discuss what he wanted to achieve from personal training with me. From the initial consultation It was clear for me to see he was really focused and really wanted to achieve the best he could under my guidance. The first couple sessions were great, he really made me proud with his commitment and desire to improve. His confidence was improving under the barbell along with his technique in the big compound moves. The results started to follow with increases in strength, new personal records being hit and a positive shift in his nutrition all brought a smile to not only my face but JP's too. Prior to Christmas JP was extremely busy with his work, late nights, long shifts all had an effect on his energy levels but this didn't stop JP from coming into his sessions with the right attitude, he was determined not to let work effect his drive and it has paid off coming into the new year. Work has slowed down a lot for him and he s able to stay on track to achieve his personal goals. If he keeps up the great work and I have know doubt that in due course he will continue to surpass his own expectations. Having said it all before, JP has really earned this award. I could not be happier with his progress and it's a great pleasure to train someone who is as determined as he is. Keep up the great work!
